Continuing from where i left, Although we understand the need for life insurance the most important question is "How much insurance does an individual need?".Answer to this question lies with the individual himself. By this i mean that every individual has to answer few important questions

1) How many of my family members are dependent on my income?

2) What liabilities are there on me which needs to be covered in case of an eventuality?

3) What are the expenses need to support my family for the future years in case of an eventuality?

4) What big future expenses that needs to be planned like children education, marriage etc?
